Insurance For Young People

Did You Know You Can Lock In Affordable Insurance For LIfe? You Must Start Young![

Insurance For Young People

I’ve had many enquiries from clients about looking after them with Income Protection Insurance. In the past I recommended a Financial Planner to them but most declined because they were just interested in cover and not the whole financial plan. Young peoples insurance is so much more affordable and you can lock in this affordable plan for life.

The other reason you need to get in young is that you probably don’t have much wrong with you right now. I’m 43 at the time I’m writing this and I recently took out my own insurance policy and due to some recent visits to the doctor regarding a bulging disc issue in my lower back I now have to list this as an exemption to my cover.

If I had of taken out my policy in my 30’s then I would’ve been covered for this event now and into the future. Luckily I can work standing up and I’m not doing any heavy lifting but if I was a Delivery/Truck Driver or a Tradie of some sort I’d be out of action and out of income!

THIS HAS SHOWN ME THAT STUFF HAPPENS REGARDLESS OF HOW OLD OR YOUNG WE ARE.

THAT’S WHY WE NEED TO COVER OUR INCOME AND PROTECT OUR HARD EARNED ASSETS!

Covering your income may cost as little as $1,000 – $1,500 a year depending on your level of cover and applicable terms and conditions. You may also decide to fund this from your Super if you think this is suitable for your circumstances.

LIFE AND CRITICAL ILLNESS INSURANCE

Life, TPD, and Critical Illness Insurance are policies many of us don’t think about but life has it’s ups and downs and we never know what’s around the corner so it’s much better to be prepared.

We’ve all been to, or seen advertised a charity event raising funds for someone with cancer. This is always a great display of community and friends and family rallying for someone they love but it could’ve been avoided.

A TPD or Critical Illness Policy provides a lump sum payout to the policy holder upon diagnosis or occurrence of injury and can be enough to cover all medical expenses and money to survive on if you can’t work as a result.
